Klaas van Kreis
Klaas van Kreis is a communication designer and multidisciplinary generalist. He has German-Spanish roots and a multicultural background. He is an avowed typographer, science fiction and film aficionado.
In his work he explores the abysses of the human soul and brings together desires and fears. Known, valued and sometimes feared for his sincerity, observational power and frankness towards himself and the world, these virtues are both a curse and a blessing. Despite occasional controversies, they are the fuel for his highly aesthetic works. The result are imaginative, profound and raw designs that inspire the audience to think.
His works vary greatly in their media form. They range from graphics and illustration to photography, moving images and interfaces. All works have in common an analytical approach and a keen sense of form, space and colour.
He currently lives and works in Munich.
