This poster was part of an exercise I made for a course on typography. We had to draw a pangram by hand to practice our typographic skills. That’s what I came up with.Oh, the pangram is a german one and it reads:
“Prall vom Whisky flog Quax den Jet zu bruch".
A very loose translation into english for everyone who doesn’t speak german:
“Drunk by the whisky, Quax crashed the jet. "

These are parts of my old corporate design. I remember how long I had been working on this idea. But as hard as it was for me to drop this logo (I still love you little monkey), I learned quite a lot with this project about creating a CD. And I certainly learned one thing in particular: even if one font seems to be ›perfect‹ you should really think twice before buying it. It cost me a fortune, and I still didn’t had a proper chance to use it. Hopefully there comes a project where this font is appropriate. Till then I have to keep eating half rations … just kidding.
